About the Author
Hi,
Thanks for stopping by @Risk. Please let me know what you think.
Supplier risk is top of everyone’s mind these days, and it is certainly top of my mind. I’ve spent the last 20+ years in and around supply chains as an engineer, software architect, supply chain manager, and most recently in senior/strategic management roles for companies like Monster Cable, Bechtel, DigitalThink, and currently Aravo. During that time I’ve witnessed the nearly exponential growth of expectations for better, faster, and cheaper supply chain delivery coupled with an explosion of complexity in supply chains themselves – both contributing to increased risk. I joined Aravo a little over a year ago, and one of our goals is to help companies reduce supplier risk with the products we build.
This blog isn’t a commercial for Aravo – in fact I’m not planning to talk about my company at all – but it is a way to voice my own concern and passion for supplier risk, draw attention to the good, the bad, and the downright scary, and hopefully drive some meaningful conversations and debate about the way forward.

I was hoping to talk to you about your blog, how long it has been up, the kinds of subjects you cover and the response you get.
My deadline is today for this story.
If you could call me at 213-627-3737 Ext. 270, that would be wonderful.

Hi Kevin,
I am the comm’s manager at Maplecroft. You recently ran a piece on our Human Rights Risk Reports for BRICS and N11 nations. If possible could you drop me a line as I think it would be good for us to touch base.
Best wishes,
Jason
2Hi Kevin,
Its a wonderful blog you have here. I’m surprised I was not aware of it earlier – especially after you’d tweeted about my blog. I especially like the fact that you’ve focused on a specific niche in the field.
I maintain a similar blog that focuses on Supply Chain Management as a whole. I’m extremely interested in hearing about your experience blogging in this industry and your strategies doing so. Do drop me an email if you’re interested and we can schedule a short conversation.
3Dear Kevin,
I would to check the possibility of having you as media partner for our “2nd Supply Chain Risk Management Seminar Barcelona 2010″, due to take place on next October (please check our website for more info)
